Dear Peace members:
Pastor Schmidt and the Elders have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 news and information. As a result, and after much thought and prayerful consideration, we have decided the following:
– Starting this Wednesday, March 18th and continuing through April 1st, 2020, ALL worship (both Midweek Lenten as well as Sunday morning services), will be offered ONLINE ONLY. After April 1st, we will evaluate the recommendations of our state and local governments as well as the Synod to determine our future course forward.
Please use the following YouTube link below to live stream the Peace Lutheran Church worship services both on Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season beginning at 7:00PM and on Sunday mornings beginning at 10:30AM. We will go live approximately 15-30 seconds before the start of each service.

– ALL other church activities – including Sunday School, all Bible Studies, and Confirmation classes are CANCELLED until April 1st. Again, we will evaluate our future scheduling of these events after the April 1st date. However, the church building will be open daily from 10:00AM – 2:00PM for prayer or Pastoral care. If your needs fall outside of the listed time, please contact Pastor Schmidt to discuss.
– Please consider your continued financial offerings during this time by utilizing our online giving option or mailing your weekly offering to the church office.
– It is still our goal to have Confirmation on Palm Sunday, April 5th. However, please note that as the situation is very fluid with new information coming out every day, your flexibility and understanding are greatly appreciated.
– The church office hours will be reduced. If you have any immediate needs, please contact the church office at (724)941-9441 and leave a voice mail message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
– If you are in need of Pastoral care during this time, please contact Pastor Schmidt at (217)979-2473 or justinschmidt40@hotmail.com
May God’s be with you all as we navigate these days ahead!

From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.”~ Psalm 121: 1
